From Italy (via Farmington Hills) with love

Printer-friendly version

We’re always asking readers to send in high-resolution tabletop and event photos. Recently, Rina Tonon, owner of Café Cortina in Farmington Hills, shared photos of some tabletops at the restaurant and of an event held on their lovely patio (love how guests are seated on the inside of the U-shaped table). The tabletops are simple, elegant and gracious, just like Café Cortina and its authentic, traditional Italian menu that has relied on ingredients from the restaurant’s kitchen garden long before it became a trend.

Featured in the Winter 2012 issue of one of my favorite magazines, EdibleWOW, Café Cortina celebrates 36 years in 2012. “We have been getting Café Cortina ready for our upcoming weddings and many events,” Rina noted when she sent the photos in March. “Patios, dining rooms, kitchen, menus, etc., etc. Lots of work, time and money spent. But we don't tire of the hospitality business, fortunately.”
