Signature Drink- Camille

The Camille has been one of Rodin’s most popular drinks since the French-inspired eatery opened in Detroit earlier this year. Named for Auguste Rodin’s lover, Camille Claudel, the cocktail is a "really well-balanced drink," says Rodin bartender Melanie Mack.

1.5 oz. Tanqueray gin
0.5 oz. St. Germain elderflower liqueur
0.5 oz. Green Chartreuse liqueur
A splash of fresh-squeezed lemon juice
A splash of simple syrup

Put all into a tumbler, shake well and pour into a chilled martini glass.
Garnish with a thin lemon wheel.

The fare and flare of Spain has arrived in downtown Grand Rapids with the opening of the new MDRD, pronounced Madrid, on the 27th floor of the tower at Amway Grand Plaza Hotel (previously Cygnus27 restaurant). While the feel and flavors have changed, the unparalleled views of downtown and the Grand River means that this space still provides the best skyline dining in the city. Here, every seat is the “best seat in the house.”
