Sometimes I wonder how much time I spend in my closet scooting hangers back and forth. Whether the event is formal, semi-formal, business dress or even the dreaded “smart” casual (what does that even mean?), deciding what to wear to an event can be a difficult choice. Of course, when you get it right and you have the perfect bag to go with that dress or the right pair of shoes, it’s a feeling you want to remember. Cue the on-site illustrations by Denise Fike.

This Philadelphia-based artist shares her talent with partygoers and event attendees with a very unique product – fashion sketches. Fike’s sketches look a bit like retro Vogue covers…except you’re the model! She was on site at the MPI gala and sketched our own Maureen Hennessey (that’s Maureen in the sketch!). If you’re looking for something truly memorable to gift your guests with at your next event, look no further than the designs of Denise Fike.

The third phase focused on renovating the 667 guestrooms to mimic the Brooklyn lifestyle, with urban-inspired color pallets, fabrics that emulate the culture and landmarks, and an art piece that zooms in on a piece of a mural that is located in the lobby.
