“Our clients wanted to create a fresh, crisp, elegant, lush, over the top, wow wedding,” reports David C. McKnight, owner/founder of Emerald City Designs in Farmington Hills. 

“This springtime project was a formal, black-tie event. They only wanted to use neutral colors, white, ivory, green, gold and black,” he says. The results were stunning.

Emerald City Designs, the Best Event Planner/Event Planning Company in the Michigan Meeting + Events’ Best of 2018 readers’ choice awards, coordinated the wedding planning, floral, décor and stationary.

McKnight acknowledges that events like this take extensive planning and attention to details, especially when working with so many different vendors. Helping the Emerald City team for this special day were:

The Greater Detroit Chapter of the National Association for Catering & Events (NACE) celebrated its annual holiday party at The Whiskey Factory in Detroit with a strolling dinner, music, gift card balloon pop and membership awards. More than 125 members enjoyed the event sponsored by AVL Creative, Chair Covers & Linens, Creative Specialties, The Display Group, Rock Out Entertainment, ShutterBooth, Viviano Flower Shop, BTW Photography and The Whiskey Factory.
